Mental Health, Crisis Response, and Professional Resilience

Complex clients. High-risk behaviour. Work that's hard precisely because you're good at it and yet it still asks everything of you.

This is a three-hour, self-paced course built for experienced practitioners doing genuinely difficult work, not a refresher for beginners.

What you'll actually walk away with

A working understanding of the Stress-Vulnerability Framework, sharpened for the complexity you're navigating, not the textbook version. Risk assessment, crisis understanding, and formulation you can apply in real time. A safety planning process you can genuinely use, restricting means, increasing observation, engaging support, and knowing exactly when to escalate. And then, the turn inward, compassion fatigue, vicarious trauma, and building your own sustainable resources, so this work doesn't cost you everything.

Eight worksheets are built into the course, as the mechanism that actually embeds the learning.

Who this is for

Health and disability professionals already doing this work, OTs, allied health clinicians, support or housing workers, team leaders, and practice managers, who want more than awareness. You're not looking for basics. You're looking for a framework that holds up under real complexity.

What people are saying

"Felt cared for and safe talking about tough subjects, and felt valued when contributing to conversation."
— Jesse Davis

"Our team at work recently completed the Mental Health First Aid Training with Lauren and it was so great! Lauren was able to ask all of our questions and take us through the material in a meaningful way."
— Courtney Johnson

"Lauren was great from the first enquiry. We were wanting to develop knowledge and skills in mental health for a sporting club, but this doesn't fit into most available services. Lauren tailored a session to suit our needs, was easy to work with in preparation, and on the night delivered an engaging session. Lots of learnings and healthy discussions throughout the night to make it relevant for us."
— Andie Hatton, Men's Coordinator, Hockey Geelong Sharks
