1. Agreement
By accessing the website www.laurenpattinson.com, purchasing any product or service, enrolling in any course or program, or attending any training delivered by Lauren Pattinson (“we”, “our”, “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.
If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.
2. Services
Lauren Pattinson provides education, training, coaching, and professional development services. These include but are not limited to:
- Signature program
- Mental Health First Aid accreditation courses
- Mini courses (self-paced online modules)
- Workplace and corporate training
- Group coaching sessions and workshops
- Free resources, newsletters, and lead magnets
3. Educational Disclaimer
All content, courses, programs, and training delivered by Lauren Pattinson are educational in nature.
Our services are designed to build knowledge, capability, and confidence in navigating mental health topics in professional and personal contexts. They do not constitute and should not be relied upon as medical advice, psychological treatment, counselling, crisis intervention, or a substitute for professional mental health care.
If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact your local emergency services (000 in Australia), Lifeline (13 11 14), or Beyond Blue (1300 22 4636).
Participation in our courses and programs does not create a therapist-client, clinician-patient, or counsellor-client relationship.
4. Intellectual Property
All content on our website and within our courses, programs, and resources — including but not limited to text, images, videos, worksheets, frameworks, templates, and course materials — is the intellectual property of Lauren Pattinson and is protected by Australian copyright law.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, share, resell, or create derivative works from any of our content without prior written permission.
Purchasing a course or program grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to access and use the content for your own professional and personal development only.
5. Course and Program Access
Upon enrolment in education, you will receive access to recorded modules, live sessions, and community resources for a period of 1 month from your enrolment date. After this period, access to recorded content will expire unless otherwise communicated.
Mini courses: upon purchase, you will receive access to the course content for a period of 1 month from your purchase date.
Mental Health First Aid courses: these are live courses delivered on specific dates. Access to any associated pre-learning materials is managed through Mental Health First Aid Australia’s learning portal.
Free workshops and events: access is limited to the live event or any replay period communicated at the time of registration.
6. Payment
All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST where applicable.
Payments are processed securely through Kajabi. We do not store your credit card details.
Payment plans: where a payment plan is offered, you agree to complete all scheduled payments and must do so before you receive any resources or programs. If a payment fails or you choose to cancel your payment plan, access to the program and all associated content will be suspended until payment is resolved or permanently removed if the plan is cancelled. Outstanding payments are not pursued.
7. User Conduct
When participating in our courses, coaching, community, or events, you agree to:
- Treat all participants, staff, and facilitators with respect and courtesy
- Maintain confidentiality of any personal information shared by other participants during group sessions, coaching, or community discussions
- Not record, screenshot, or redistribute any live session content without permission
- Not use our content for commercial purposes without prior written consent
We reserve the right to remove participants from programs, sessions, or community spaces if their conduct is deemed disruptive, harmful, or in breach of these terms.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Australian law, Lauren Pattinson will not be held liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from your use of our website, services, or content.
This includes but is not limited to any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from participation in our courses, application of content in professional or personal settings, or reliance on any information provided.
Our training is educational and does not replace professional supervision, clinical oversight, or mental health treatment. You are responsible for how you apply the content in your own context.
9. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms of Use is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010) or any other applicable legislation that cannot be excluded by agreement.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of our website or services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
