Mental Health First Aid Accreditation

A structured way to respond when someone is struggling. Not perfectly. But with enough clarity to act.

What It Is

Mental Health First Aid is an internationally recognised, evidence-based program that gives you a structured action plan for responding when someone may be experiencing a mental health challenge or crisis.

It is not therapy. It is not diagnosis.

It is knowing what to do in the moment, clearly and safely.

What We Cover

The course covers depression, anxiety, substance use, and psychosis.

And importantly: suicide risk, self-harm, and crisis situations.

You will learn to recognise when someone may be struggling, start conversations about mental health with confidence, respond to crisis situations using a clear framework, and guide someone toward appropriate professional support.

What Changes

People often tell me the most valuable thing they take from the course is confidence.

Confidence to start the conversation. Confidence to ask the harder questions. Confidence to support someone well, while also knowing where the boundaries sit.

An amazing course that has given me the confidence to act when required.
